Recommended Tour Itinerary
Day: 1 – Delhi arrival and fly to Udaipur
Upon your arrival at Delhi airport for Glimpses of Maharajas Tour, our company representative will meet and greet you. Then you will be transferred to the car as you will drive towards your pre-booked hotel and on reaching check-in the hotel for short relax. Later you will be again dropped at Delhi airport to board your flight to Udaipur. On arrival, check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 2- Udaipur Sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the car as you will leave for full- day sightseeing in this beautiful city. You will visit City Palace – the largest royal complex in Rajasthan as the construction began in the year 1559 under Maharaja Udai Singh II and subsequently carried out under his successor Maharanas for a period of next 300 years. This magnificent monument consists of towers, balconies, cupolas that give panoramic view of the Udaipur city and Pichola Lake. Then you will visit Jagdish Temple, which was constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh. This temple has Indo-Aryan architectural style and dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Have a drive through the old streets of Udaipur and reach Fateh Sagar Lake – an artificial lake that was reconstructed by Maharana Fateh Singh in the year 1888. Then you will visit Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, which is also known as courtyard of maidens was built by Maharana Bhopal Singh and comprises of marble elephants, a lotus pool, kiosks and fountains. In the evening, you either go for shopping of wooden folk toys, wall hangings, hand-printed textiles or visit Monsoon palace, which was built in the year 1884 by Maharana Sajjan Singh. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 3 – Udaipur – Ranakpur (94 km, 2 to 3 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then our company representative will transfer you to the air-conditioned car as you leave for Ranakpur. In Ranakpur, you will visit the famous Jain temples. The main temple is dedicated to Tirthankara Adinatha – the founder of the Jain religion, extensive in architecture, is located picturesque Aravalis and has 29 halls, 80 domes and1444 pillars. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 4 – Ranakpur – Kumbhalgarh (34 km, 1 to 2 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then our company representative will transfer you to the air-conditioned car as you leave for Kumbhalgarh. This 15th century fort was constructed by Rana Kumbha. There are many temples in this fort wherein 300 of them are Jain and others being Hindu. Today you are going to enjoy trek for at least 5 hours. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 5 – Kumbhalgarh – Ghanerao
Have early morning breakfast at the hotel and then you will leave by foot. The walk is going to be little longer (approximately 14 km). You will have your lunch at Crocodile Lake, which is also a paradise for the bird watchers. After finishing your lunch, go through some small fields and tribal settlements to see the shepherds gazing their cattle and camel. Reach Ghanerao castle for overnight stay.
Day: 6 – Ghanerao – Jodhpur (152 km, 3 to 4 hrs)
Have early morning breakfast at the hotel and then our company representative will transfer you to the air-conditioned car as you will visit Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace (has a heritage museum). Also visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. Within the fort there are beautiful palaces, and a display of royal arms and artifacts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 7 – Jodhpur – Pushkar (187 km, 3 to 4 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel, then our company representative will transfer you to the air-conditioned car as you will leave for Pushkar. Large number of tourists from different parts of the world visits this city to enjoy the major attraction known as “Pushkar Camel Fair”. After reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for short relaxation. Later you will proceed for sightseeing in this holy city that includes Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and various religious Ghats. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 8 – Pushkar – Jaipur (144 km, 2 to 3 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then you will visit Hawa Mahal that is also called as “Palace of Winds” and was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The structure of this monument is like a beehive and comprises of 953 small windows. Then you will visit City Palace that is a huge complex that consists of buildings, beautiful gardens, courtyards and other magnificent structures. It was made in between 1729 and 17332 with the initiation of the rule of Ajmer, Sawai Jai Singh II. After visiting this famous tourist attraction, you will go to explore Albert Hall Museum situated in the Ram Niwas Garden and is the oldest museum in the state of Rajasthan. In the evening, you are free for independent activities like shopping as Jaipur is famous for traditional gemstone jewelry and other handicrafts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 9 – Jaipur – Ranthambore (165 km, 3 to 4 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then you will visit Amber Fort that is also known as Amer fort, which is located 11 km away from the main city of Jaipur. It is situated high on a hill and was built in the year 1592 AD by Raja Man Singh I. You can also enjoy elephant ride to climb this fort and get a wonderful panoramic view of the whole Jaipur City. You will also visit Jal Mahal, which is located in a lake and attracts large number of tourists every year. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Ranthambore. On arrival, check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 10 – Ranthambore
After having early morning breakfast, you will go for morning jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park to spot various wild animals like tigers, wild boars, deer, bear, leopard and many more. This particular national park is famous all across the globe for tiger sighting. After having lunch, you will again go for evening jungle safari to explore the natural habitat of various wild animals. Return to the forest lodge for overnight stay.
*Please note-– Ranthambore National Park remains closed in Monsoon season (1st July to 30th September)
Day: 11 – Ranthambore – Bharatpur (240 km, 4 to 5 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then you will drive towards Bharatpur. On arrival, you will check in to your forest lodge for short relaxation. Later you will go for jungle safari in Keoladeo Bird sanctuary to watch the different types of migratory birds. Return to the forest lodge for overnight stay.
Day: 12 – Bharatpur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (58 km, 1 to 2 hrs)
Have breakfast at the hotel and then drive towards Agra. En Route, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri- is the best preserved collection of Indian Mughal architecture in India and was the capital of Mughal Empire for around 10 years. This place is a great example of architectural ensembles that were constructed between the year 1571 and 1585. Later drive again towards Agra and after arrival check in to your hotel for short relaxation. Visit Taj Mahal at the time of sunset, which is a wonderful experience for every tourist (domestic or foreign) coming to this magnificent city. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 13 – Agra – Delhi (209 km, 3 to 4 hrs)
You can visit Taj Mahal again at the time of sunrise to click some wonderful images to cherish this glorious moment for all the years to come. Return to the hotel for breakfast & later visit Agra Fort and Baby Taj. Later drive towards Delhi and after arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 14 – Delhi sightseeing and Departure
Have early morning breakfast at the hotel, as you will be transferred to the car to proceed for full-day Delhi sightseeing to explore major tourist attractions like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, and Humayun’s Tomb. On completion of the sightseeing, you will be dropped at Delhi airport to board your flight to home.
*Please Note- Red Fort, Akshardham Temple and Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays.
